Did I really skip an entire month of blogging? The month of September was busy but I wasn't lacking in time so much as in motivation. I am now almost 34 weeks along and getting a little uncomfortable. I sleep well once every third or fourth night and so Leola's nap times become my nap times on many days- unless I'm not caught up in a little project. And last month was full of "little projects."
I have been nesting, nesting and nesting some more. The baby's clothes and blankets are all washed and in the nursery closet (which is where Leola still sleeps. In the nursery. Not the closet.) I have a container of newborn pjs & clothes and a separate container for 3 month clothes. You learn a lot about being organized with the first child!
Leola's new "big girl" room is close to being ready and I'm hoping she'll be sleeping in it by this weekend. Bob painted her bed green and I was so excited to make it up with this cute bedding.
Leola loves to sit on her new bed and "read" to her dolls. She closes the door behind her and I can hear her singing and talking all the way from the kitchen.
Bob also painted a chandelier for her room that was original to this house...
This picture has nothing to do with her room, but just thought y'all might want to see what she would look like with pigtails. Plus, I think it's hilarious...
